“My name is Mark Miller, I came in contact with CCDC Church and Pastor Millicent Sawyerr when they went to fellowship at the union gospel mission homeless shelter in October. Then two days before thanksgiving dat 2016 I received a call from one of the members of the church to participate in their 3 days thanksgiving dinner at one of the Pastor’s homes. It was three of us, we were given a room each, dinner in a clean and beautiful home. I had respiratory problems and I use a c-pap for sleep apnea, I had a swollen foot with an uncontrolled diabetes plus were all coughing from the cold we had from the homeless shelter. Pastor Millicent Sawyerr, being a registered nurse gave us theraflu and a pack of her magic vitamins from her wellness clinic. I felt loved again. After the three days it was time to go back to the homeless shelter but pastor Milli asked me to stay due to my medical problems. Pastor Milli trained me to become a home health attendant and I started earning income again and paying rent for my room. I was later asked about my hopes and dreams in life, which is seeing and being with my 14 year old daughter and going to stock investor school. CCDC and Pastor Sawyerr made it possible for me to have two weeks time with my daughter and I just finished my first three days of class at online trade academy. I pray that the Lord will bless pastor Milli with an Angel on Earth so she can be able to reach out to plenty in need of love and direction out there”
